Spirit of Summer Must-Haves


It’s just over a week to go until the Spirit of Summer Fair and it’s all hands to the pump here at S&M HQ as we work with Clarion Events to bring the best in stylish summer living to the public at Olympia in London from Wednesday 16th – Saturday 19th May 2012. 

We’re especially excited about working with the hand-picked Summer collection of stylish boutiques that you won’t find on the high street and have already been spotted by the rich and famous. Here’s just a selection of some of our favourites:

Louise Sandberg (stand D64) - The Duchess of Cambridge recently quoted Louise as one of her favourite designers, whilst Madonna  has recently been seen wearing the classic kaftan top, Heidi Klum is a big fan and Jodie Kidd wears the whole range. Don’t miss this must-have beach wear!


The Indian Garden Company (stand C30) - Specialises in exquisite, hand-crafted decorative sun umbrellas (which have featured in films including Alice in Wonderland), exotic parasols, umbrella stands, garden lanterns, garden accessories, wooden wall art, romantic Indian tents and textiles for the garden, patio and home. Their celebrity following includes Alan Titchmarsh, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and Kevin McCloud

Amishi London (stand C2) – Amishi’s bags have been worn by celebrities such as Claudia Schiffer, Mel B, Charlotte Church, Victoria Beckham, Keisha and Tamsin Egerton, with a 1930’s inspired bag featured on the recent TV series; Made in Chelsea, worn by Milly Mackintosh!


Harriet Sanders Accessories (stand B41) – Labelled the next Patrick Cox by Grazia, London College of Fashion graduate Harriet’s leather handbags individually made in England from ethically produced leathers, offer true British fashion with a unique touch.


Chloe Croft (stand F15) - Royal College of Art graduate Chloe's passion for bespoke, elegant design has seen her product work for the world's finest producers of hand painted wallpaper, silk and porcelain - de Gournay. Today Chloe combines her passion for animals with her vibrant and elegant style to create a collection of animal portraits in limited edition prints and homeware. 



Summer Lifestyle Workshop - Prestigious sale of nearly new silk scarves
Wednesday 16 & Thursday 17 May (10am - 11am)
The London Ladies Club are working with the Retired Greyhouse Trust to raise funds by hosting the sale of a range of elegant and beautiful scarves in the Summer Lifestyle Workshop, donated by ladies, including some unique vintage and collectible designs to suit all styles. The sale is supported by Twiggy who is donating two signed scarves for a prize draw which you can enter on the day.
